Female Eclectus Parrots are anything but faithful. Once they have occupied a hollow, numerous male Eclectus Parrots will visit the hollow to feed the female in exchange for sexual favours.

Far from being able to point the finger, male Eclectus Parrots visit and feed numerous females in the area. This unusual arrangement has ensured the continuation of the Eclectic Parrot population.

This Male Eclectus Parrot has arrived at the hollow only to find it empty and the female Eclectus Parrot out on a branch flirting with two other males. He flew off disappointed.
